The purpose of this organization is to create this website and provide an umbrella composed of concerned
and knowledgeable community leaders who will reach out to Douglas County citizens and groups with land use issues. Through
this network of people and this website, citizens will have better access to each other and to much needed Douglas County
land use information. This group will be a watchdog for the ten-year 2006 master plan cycle and beyond.
We will track the performance and voting record of elected and appointed county officials. Identify and
publicize potential and factual conflicts of interest among elected and appointed public officials. Monitor fiscal and operational
performance and priorities of county agencies in use of taxpayer dollars.
